Great video. I would have loved to have found this about a year ago when I was kept reading about RSS and wondering what it was. There didn’t seem to be any where on the web that gave you a simple explanation like this, it took me ages to work out what it was/did

I would have loved to have watched this video a year ago too. Especially considering I’ve only been blogging since last October.
This would’ve given me a jump-start.
this is a great video. I just saw this same video on another blog. I think it make what and how to use RSS easy. people see it and they don’t understand. well I didn’t until I saw the video.
Dam, that would of been great video to explain to my clients about rss! Future ones are get this video!

Without a doubt the clearest explanation of RSS I’ve ever seen. Now it’s up to all of us in the know to get the video into the hands of those who are not!
lol its like netflix compared to video store. I like it
You still have to spend time reading and thinking about what you have read, so I don’t think it is such a great time saver even if it does save a bit of effort.
Given that the video is a recent posting, why did it refer to 50M blogs when there are now 75M?
Awesome video. It really explains what RSS is and somewhat explains how to grow your RSS subscribers.

I really like this video and used the same one to help my small business startup clients understand RSS. Once a new online business owner understands these tricks and tips, they will definitely increase targeted traffic to their sites and also save themselves a lot of waisted time browsing around at all their favorite spots. I visit Google Reader as much as any other website. Added you to my list of good reads.
thats explain a lot . Thanks
Well - that explains a lot…I was always about 95% sure about what I was doing. Now…100%!
This is quite a late response, and I do apologise for that. RSS saves me plenty of time, no doubt about it. If I was to check up on those sites I want to read, every time I ‘thought’ there was new content, I’d be wasting a lot of time that could be saved by simply subscribing to their feed.
As for the figure of total blogs, I think that’s beside the point.
Nate,
Thanks very much for adding me to your ‘good reads’.
Sqwink,
It’s a great video, for sure, and helped me become completely sure what RSS was about, even though I offered my feed well before watching it.
